For a seventh year in a row, the Tom Harris Charity Classic brought together business leaders, community partners, sponsors, and volunteers, raising $765,000 to support local initiatives focused on food security, health, youth, and community well-being.
Held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Nanaimo Golf Club, the full-day event featured 18 holes of golf, a cocktail reception, dinner, auction, and live performance from London-based indie pop/rock band Ten Fé.
Supporting food security across Vancouver Island
The generosity demonstrated at the Charity Classic reflects the same spirit that guides THCF’s work throughout the year. Through partnerships and long-term investments, we continue to support organizations addressing critical needs across the region, including food security.
One example of this broader work is THCF’s commitment of $750,000 to Loaves & Fishes Community Food Bank’s new regional headquarters in Nanaimo. The new facility will be named the Tom Harris Regional Food Centre, expanding the organization’s ability to recover, store, and distribute food to communities across Vancouver Island and beyond.
This commitment reflects THCF’s belief that strong communities are built when people come together to support solutions that create both immediate and lasting impact.
